THE BEAST FROM BEYOND

THE BEAST FROM BEYOND

Infinite Warfare
Activate Pack-A-Punch
Pick up N31L's Head on the bridge by going down the hole in the Ops Center and landing on the ledge.
Place N31L's Head in the computer in the Staging room to turn on the power.
Press the button on the Cargo Room balcony to open the portal to the theater.
Collect 3 Bridge Parts:
  • Water Treatment: up the stairs to Medical, next to Blue Bolts
  • Cargo Room: behind the stairs leading out of the bottom pit
  • Main Street: on a car near the portal
Place the 3 Bridge Parts on the broken bridge at the Exterior to build the bridge leading to the Portal Array.
Obtain the Entangler
Use an explosive to open a fuse box, revealing a skull for you to shoot:
  • Water Treatment: above the door leading to Medical
  • Ops Center: above Bombstoppers
  • Cargo Room: above the stairs going down to the Magic Wheel
All players must stand on a red X so a green circle appears on the ground in the Cargo Room, then remain in the circle for a full minute:
  • Balcony coming from the Hallway
  • Cargo crate in the middle of the room
  • Outside of the center pit area, near blue barrels
  • Outside of the center pit area, under the balcony leading to the Portal
At the end of the minute, the circles disappear and the Skull in the center of the room will fly near a player. Someone needs to jump up and hit the Skull to make it disappear.
Grab the Entangler from the middle of the pit area in the Cargo Room.
The 4 Floppy Disks
Astronaut Helmet Floppy Disk:
  • Use the Entangler to pick up an Astronaut Helmet in the Staging area.
  • Bring it to the Medical area and throw it at the green monitor on the right, through the blue wall.
  • If done correctly, the blue wall is disabled and you can enter the room. The Floppy Disk is on the table.
Phantom Floppy Disk:
  • The first time you come back out of the Projector Room portal, a blue Phantom cryptid will spawn.
  • Wherever you kill it will drop a Floppy Disk on the ground.
Portal Array Floppy Disk:
  • There's a Floppy Disk on the ground to the left of the Projector Portal, next to a tower.
Vents Floppy Disk:
  • Use the Entangler in the Hallway to pick up the Floppy Disk behind bars in the red area, and throw it into the Vent at the end of the area. Done successfully, the Floppy Disk won't respawn there.
  • Locate the Floppy Disk at a Vent around the map:
    • Hallway: next to the red area where you threw the Floppy Disk
    • Hallway: left of the Magic Wheel
    • Hallway: right of the door going to the Cargo Room
    • Hallway: at the wall up the stairs
    • Hallway: upstairs, left of the door going to the Ops Center
    • Mess Hall: left of the Fridge Lure Trap
    • Staging: left of the Magic Wheel
N31L's Computer
Select the 4 symbols shown on your Floppy Disks below. Once all 4 are selected, the solver will tell you the exact code to enter.
Symbol Solver
Put the Floppy Disks into the computer in Staging with N31L, in order left to right (matching the graphics top to bottom on the cheat sheet).
Result
Done successfully, N31L will become angry.
Theater Button & Medical Dials
Go to the Theater and grab the button in the hallway with the Entangler, then throw it into a "Beast From Beyond" poster.
In the secret room in Medical, interact with the button under the table. This opens a wall in the operating room with dials.
Take note of which dials are vertical, then change all the initially-vertical dials to horizontal.
Tip
Done correctly, N31L should turn happy again. If not, keep switching the initially-vertical dials until they're all horizontal.
N31L's Head & the Portal Array
Use the Entangler to grab and hold onto N31L's Head in the Staging Area. This will spawn zombies and start randomly opening and closing doors.
Take N31L's Head to the Portal Array and go through the portal.
Align N31L's Head with the computer on the right and let go.
Result
Done successfully, N31L's Head will go into the computer.
Boss Fight
All players must hold interact on N31L's Head at the same time to start the boss fight.
Tip
During this boss fight, you can get ammo from the ammo crate in the cargo crate in the middle of the arena.
Phase 1: Defeat the 4 Rhinos that come out of the crates after they get shot open.
Phase 2: Defeat the two waves of cryptids that spawn from the portals. After this phase ends, you can also grab Sentry Guns from certain cargo crates to place down.
Phase 3: Defend yourself from Cryptids and laser attacks. Once the first Rhino spawns, this indicates that 3 monitors have come online. You must interact with all 3 within a short time frame.
Phase 4: A laser shoots open a crate in the middle, revealing a monitor with a timer. Survive until the timer counts down from 99 to 0, then interact with the monitor.
Phase 5: 2 Mammoths are released from crates. These have huge health pools and can kill you in two hits. When damaged enough, they'll glow blue and leave fire behind on the ground. This fire deals massive damage if stepped in, but disappears after a few minutes. Once both Mammoths are killed, the cutscene plays and the Main Quest is complete.
Note
The Phase 4 "99 second" timer is not actually 99 seconds: it runs for much longer.
Director's Cut
If you're playing in Director's Cut and have all the Talismans, you'll begin the Mephistopheles boss fight after defeating the Mammoths. Use the toggle above to view those instructions.
Phase 1:
  • Place a Talisman on one of the 5 Ritual Circles and stand in it to charge it up.
  • Mephistopheles will throw fireballs at you, do a flame breath down the center of the arena, and summon skeletons.
  • If you leave the Ritual Circle, progress slowly regresses. Survive while staying in the circle enough to complete it.
  • When the Ritual Circle is completed, souls will fly out of it. Grab these with the Entangler and throw them at Mephistopheles.
  • After enough souls are thrown, he goes to the center of the arena with a symbol on him. Shoot it.
  • He then starts an eclipse, spawning Zombies, Cryptid Scouts, and Phantoms.
  • After surviving this, he starts a meteor shower: hide behind the front of either of the two walls to survive this and end the phase.
Phase 2: Same as Phase 1, with additions:
  • Mephistopheles can now do a clap attack and spawn a fire wall that blocks off half the arena before disappearing after a few seconds.
  • He can also do a black hole attack that pulls players in and kills them. Go prone while looking at it to avoid being pulled in while still progressing the Ritual Circle.
  • Eclipse enemies: Zombies, Cryptid Scouts, and a Slasher.
Phase 3: Same as before, with additions:
  • Mephistopheles can now summon a Meteor that lands somewhere in the arena and deals splash damage. Avoid it by going behind the wall on the opposite side from where it will land.
  • Eclipse enemies: Zombies, Cryptid Scouts, and Rhinos.
Phase 4: Same as before, with additions:
  • Mephistopheles can now go to the center of the arena and slam down. Wait a couple seconds to get more Ritual Circle progress, then immediately run behind one of the two walls before he slams down.
  • Eclipse enemies: Zombies, Cryptid Scouts, Clowns, and Ninjas.
Phase 5: Very similar to before, with additions:
  • Mephistopheles can now summon Fire Tornados that split into more tornadoes. When you see one start, back up and observe the tornadoes' paths to avoid them.
  • Once you shoot the last symbol on Mephistopheles, the next phase begins.
Phase 6. Final Phase:
  • A meteor shower starts, all zombie types spawn, and Mephistopheles attacks non-stop.
  • Shoot Mephistopheles: after enough damage, the 5 Talismans will spawn back in one by one.
  • Once all 5 Talismans are back, activate them one by one rapidly: they'll form a laser that stuns Mephistopheles.
  • He'll be pulled to the middle of the arena. Keep shooting him until he dies.
Rewards
Defeating Mephistopheles plays the final cutscene and unlocks the "Director's Cut" Camo, the "Demon Slayer" calling card, and the ability to play as Willard Wyler in Zombies in Spaceland.
Skull Breaker
Reward
Completing it provides permanent perks for the remainder of the game and makes Fate & Fortune cards charge faster.
Skull #1. Power Boxes: go to Water Treatment, Ops Center, or Cargo Bay and find one of the electrical fuse boxes. Cook a grenade and throw it at the fuse box to open it, then shoot the skull inside.
Skull #2. Cargo Bay Red X: find the red X on the floor in the Cargo Bay and step onto it. Zombies will begin attacking you. Remain on the X and survive the challenge to receive the skull.
Skull #3. Odd Symbol: look around the map for the 4 triangular symbols. 3 will match and 1 will be different. Aim down sights at the odd one and shoot it.
Skull #4. Follow the Skull: find the starting skull and shoot it. It will move to another location. Follow its path, shooting it each time it stops, until it disappears and awards the skull.
Skull #5. 8 Queens Puzzle: go to the 8 Queens puzzle area and use the chessboard to place the queens so that no queen can attack another. Completing the puzzle awards the skull.
Skull #6. Arcade Cheat Code: go to the Skull Breaker arcade machine and enter the required cheat-code sequence to unlock the final skull.
Play Skull Breaker: return to the machine and insert all 6 skulls to start the game. Shoot the colored cubes to create groups of skulls, then use the nukes to destroy the groups. Continue through the rounds until the game is completed.
Message Sent
Note
This is a hidden reference to the turnstile from Shaolin Shuffle.
Requirements
Entangler, access to the Theatre.
Create the portal: go to the terminal outside the Pack-a-Punch machine and change the date to the 1970s. A portal will appear in the air.
Get the turnstile: go to the front of the Theatre and find the turnstile inside the red dumpster. Use the Entangler to grab it.
Send it through: while holding the turnstile with the Entangler, bring it back to the Pack-a-Punch terminal and launch it into the portal to unlock the "Message Sent" achievement/trophy.

  • #15. Theatre, Street: on the fire escape at the top of the building to the left of the Magic Wheel, shot from across the street.
Once all 15 astronauts have been shot, your character performs a fist pump and you receive 2,000 XP. "Scattered Lies" begins playing inside the Theatre and Facility.
