Step 1-2
Pack-A-Punch & Observation Tower
Turn on the power and activate Pack-A-Punch.
Interact with the button in the Observation Tower.
Step 3
Obtain the Chrysalax
Collect 3 parts for the Chrysalax:
- Polymorphic Crystal Core:
- 2 rounds after interacting with the Observation Tower button, a Crystal falls from the sky and lands in Jim's Donut Shop on Main Street.
- Approach it to spawn a wave of Plaguehounds — defeat them.
- Approach it 2 more times (3 total) to spawn waves of Tempests and then Mimics.
- After defeating all 3 waves, pick up the Crystal.
- Energetic Geode — Get an Abomination to hit an Aetherium Crystal with its energy beam; the Geode spawns out of it.
- Tempered Crystal Heart — Kill a Tormentor with fire damage to make it drop the Heart.
Place all 3 parts into the pool of liquid in the Particle Accelerator and kill 10 zombies near it with melee or tomahawk kills. Once finished, pick up the Chrysalax from the pool.
Step 4
Neutralizer Parts
Gather 4 parts to craft the Neutralizer — these can be done in any order.
Catalyzed Crystal Shards (requires the Fuel Tank below first):
- There are 3 giant Aetherium Crystals — Staging Area, Main Street, and Bunker. First break the floating orbs surrounding each.
- After the orbs are destroyed, use the melee of the Chrysalax to destroy the crystal. This spawns an Abomination and gives you a Crystal Shard (takes your tactical slot).
- Throw the Shard into the Abomination's mouth so it gets eaten and its tail glows, then kill that Abomination to get the Catalyzed Shard it drops.
- Repeat for the other 2 (3 total) Aetherium Crystals.
Fuel Tank:
- Everyone interacts with the panels on the processing tanks in Fuel Processing to start a lockdown.
- After the lockdown completes, the Fuel Tank drops from the pipes — pick it up.
Housing Unit:
- Have an Abomination run at the wall in the Board Room that has the Unit floating above it, knocking it down so you can pick it up.
Monitoring Device:
- Activate an electric effect (Dead-Wire or Tesla Storm) on a zombie near the turned-off "Grand Prix" arcade cabinet in the Arcade to turn it on.
- Pay 2000 Essence to use the machine, letting you control an ARC-XD. Without letting it be destroyed, drive it to the TV Store and let its orange arc open the vent on the floor near the counter.
- Enter through the vent and explode the ARC-XD near the TVs on the right.
- The Monitoring Device can now be collected from the TV Store.
Note
Upon entering the Board Room for the first time after using the Observation Tower button, an Abomination will always spawn — useful for the Housing Unit step.
Step 5
Building & Pushing the Neutralizer
Build the Neutralizer on the workbench in Main Street.
After some dialogue, interact with the Neutralizer to begin moving it. It moves slowly toward the Town Square.
The Neutralizer will eventually run out of fuel. Break Aetherium Crystals and grab the fuel inside them, then place it into the Neutralizer. This will need to be done multiple times.
Once the Neutralizer reaches the door to the Town Square, you'll have access to Der Wunderfizz, Pack-a-Punch, Ammo Cache, Arsenal, and a Crafting Table before the boss fight.
Interact with the door to enter the boss fight.
Final Steps
Boss Fight: The Forsaken
The boss fight consists of 3 phases, each with a different weak spot to shoot.
Throughout the fight, Samantha is in the arena. Get kills inside the ring she creates to charge the turrets.
Shoot the Forsaken's weak points to break them open, exposing the area underneath. Once a turret is charged, fire it at an exposed weak point to chunk the Forsaken's health.
Weak Points: Each shoulder.
Breaking the right shoulder adds a frost blast attack.
Breaking the left shoulder adds an orb that follows and damages you.
Weak Point: Chest.
The Forsaken gains an eye laser attack.
Krasny Soldats begin spawning during this phase.
Weak Point: Head.
