Klaus
Turn on the Power.
Collect Klaus's parts:
- Hands — Use Brain Rot on a zombie near Room 305 to have it break down the barriers, then grab the Hands from the corpse on the bed.
- Battery — Drops from the first Krasny Soldat killed.
Place both parts on Klaus in the Safehouse.
Step 1
Klaus Upgrades & the CRBR-S Blazer
Klaus First Upgrade:
- Dig up a Microwave Dish at the debris piles in the Death Strip.
- Place the Dish in the upgrade station in the Garment Factory.
- Call in Klaus and have him get kills until the screen on the upgrade station turns green.
- Command Klaus to get into the upgrade station and protect him — once he comes back out, he'll be upgraded.
Klaus Second Upgrade:
- Direct Klaus to a locker in the Switch Control Room and grab the Blacklight inside.
- Find 2 boxes that, under blacklight, show Klaus's face on them. Have Klaus open them and grab the Floppy Disks. Possible locations:
- 5th Floor Apartments
- Blasted Suite
- Ghost Station
- Hotel Lounge
- Maintenance Tunnel
- West Berlin Street
- Have Klaus get into the upgrade station and protect him two more times.
CRBR-S:
- Direct Klaus to the locker in the Switch Control Room and grab the Blacklight inside.
- There are 3 areas with a 2-digit number and a circled number indicating the order, visible only under Blacklight:
- Garment Factory
- Service Passage
- Grocery Store
- Once you have all 6 digits and their order, enter them into the safe in Hotel Room 305. The CRBR-S will be inside.
Step 2
Sewer Access Wall
Call in Klaus and direct him to a wall in Sewer Access to make him punch it open.
Shoot the wall open with the CRBR-S Blazer to melt the wall.
Step 3
Essence Canisters
A red bubble around a pedestal in the Lab will disappear after you end a round.
Grab the 3 Essence Canisters and bring them to the 3 Essence Harvesters around the map. There are 7 possible Harvester locations:
- Alley
- Destroyed Penthouse
- East Berlin Streets
- Ghost Station
- Korber Rooftop
- Sewer Access
- West Berlin Street
Step 4
Charging the Harvesters
Once all 3 Canisters are placed in the Harvesters, shoot the cabinet next to the pedestal with the CRBR-S and grab Endstation Lures.
Place each lure on or near a Harvester to spawn Tempests. Kill Tempests near the Harvester to collect souls and charge it.
Once a Harvester is fully charged, pick it back up — this will slow your movement and spawn enemies in your path. Bring it back to the pedestal in the Lab.
Repeat this for the other 2 (3 total) Harvesters.
Step 5
Train, Keycard & Bomb
Switch the lever in the Switch Control Room to call in a train.
Quickly command Klaus to stand on the Eastern tracks across from Mule Kick — he'll hold out his hands and stop the train.
While the train is stopped, quickly board it and grab a Keycard and a Bomb.
Place the Bomb on the Lab pedestal.
Step 6
Hacker Helm
Break 3 items around the map to get parts:
- Antenna — Apartment Rooftop, shoot the antennae tower.
- Electronic Boards — Ghost Station, shoot the green box above one of the ticket booths.
- Transistor — Electronics Store, shoot one of three cassette players.
Craft the Hacker Helm on Klaus while he's sitting down.
Final Steps
Uranium & the Boss Fight
Use the Requiem Terminal in the Safe House until it starts a countdown.
After the countdown, an Apex Megaton and two Apex Mimics spawn from a beam at Checkpoint Charlie.
After defeating the two Apex Megaton splitters, they drop two pieces of Uranium. You'll have 5 minutes to complete the rest of this step.
Bring each chunk of Uranium, one at a time, to a build table at Military Tent or West Berlin Street.
Place each piece on each side of the zipline from Korber Rooftop to Destroyed Penthouse — they'll collide and drop an Uncorrupted Uranium Rock.
Bring the Uncorrupted Uranium Rock to the pedestal in the Lab.
Repeat this step one more time — this time the beam launches onto the Apartment Rooftop instead.
After placing the second Uncorrupted Uranium Rock, the boss fight begins.
General Tips
The boss fight has 5 phases. Simply shoot Valentina to damage her — she can raise a blue shield, but it breaks easily. The CRBR-S is excellent for damage. She can also raise zombies to heal herself — kill any zombies she raises before she can absorb them. 4 of the 5 phases include a wipe phase, signaled when Valentina holds up and charges a blue orb — get to the safe location listed for that phase when this happens.
Location: Secret Lab.
Wipe Phase Safe Location: Hide behind the walls beneath the stairs.
Location: East Berlin Streets.
Wipe Phase Safe Location: Lay behind the cars.
Location: Destroyed Penthouse.
Wipe Phase Safe Location: Hide inside the building.
After the Boss Fight
Interact with Valentina to start a cutscene. Afterward, protect Klaus as he walks into the portal to complete the Main Quest.
